Roger Federer V Andy Roddick

Roger Federer(2) winning his 15th Grand Slam titles breaking Pete Sampras's 14 Grand Slam titles.

Federer became tennis's greatest champion as he defeated Andy Roddick 5-7, 7-6(8-6), 7-6(7-5), 3-6, 16-14. The match took 4 hours of non stop action. Especially the 5th set where Roger and Andy fight point for point.

Federer made sports history at Wimbledon as the first man to win 15 Grand Slam titles. When asked if there's more to come? He said," It definitely seems possible"

Andy Roddick only has 1 Grand Slam title which was in 2003 at US Open against Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Roddick been to the Wimbledon finals 3 time in 2004, 2005 & 2009 but the opponent was always Roger Federer. Last two time he played against Roger, he fell short. This year 2009 he also fell short, but he pushed the match to a 5th set.

As I see it, Andy is no loser. He played his best tennis I ever saw. He played with a lot of energy and believe he could finally defeat Federer. I would believe if there wasn't Roger Federer in tennis, Andy would have more titles.
