Blake Griffin, top pick of the 2009 NBA draft, finally got on the court yesterday playing the LA Lakers in the Summer League.It didn't take long for Griffin to warm up to the big spot light. The opening of the game he quickly scored the first 6 points for the team.
He finish the game with 27 points and 12 rebounds, his first double double in the NBA. After the game he said that he was happy to be on the court after a month of rest. He felt comfortable on and off the court.
He definitely showed the coaches and teammates why he was the number one pick.
Griffin and the Clippers return to action today when the team faces the New Orleans Hornets at 7:30 PM.
